Unity Center of Norwalk’s Healing Power of Connection returns for a full day of renewal, relaxation, and inspiration at Unity Center of Norwalk.
This year’s event will feature a beautiful mix of workshops, healing sessions, complimentary lunch, and opportunities to relax, renew, and reconnect.
At 1:20 PM join a workshop on Energy Regulation. Join David Sklarew, certified Energy Healing Practitioner, for a transformative experience of chakra regulation and balance.
Through guided techniques, you'll learn how to regulate your energy centers to support personal empowerment, evolution, and spiritual growth.

Unity Center of Norwalk is located at 3 Main Street, 2nd floor, Norwalk (note that elevator access is NOT available).
Paid parking is available in the lot directly across the street from the Center.

Registration begins at 9:30 AM.
Lunch and light refreshments will be served throughout the day.

There Are No Wrong Notes! Self Expression and Connection Through Music
Through your voice, rhythm, and movement express yourself, find your groove, and connect with the community.
In a judgement free zone, Come play, laugh, and connect.
Music making is often relegated to ‘professionals’. It was not always this way and doesn’t have to be… Everyone is musical - we may just have differences in experience. Join this community and be guided through a series of exercises fostering self expression and musical collaboration. This is a judgement free zone where there are no wrong notes. Come play, sing, and connect through improvisational music. Your voice counts and is perfect as it is.
This workshop is completely experiential and the exercises will be adjusted based on the size of the group attending. The general approach is create a very welcoming safe environment for self expression (voice or rthym) by slowly introducing musical tools and integrating them together. For example: the workshop starts with a few embodiment exercises, transitions to breathing, a few sighs, and then a sustained note -- and walla, we have the roots of music. Potential exercises are in the spirit of The Music For People organization's programing.
My hope is that the men attending will have fun and play - learning to let go of self-judgement and fear and express themselves and connect with others authentically.
Energy Medicine - Inspired Tools for Evolution
Are you inspired to grow beyond stories, patterns, behaviors and beliefs? Ready to express your uniqueness, own your gifts, and be present to yourself and others in new and authentic ways?
In this highly experiential course, learn about your energy body and how it reflects disregulated emotional or behavioral patterns you may gravitate towards. Learn tools to cultivate inner awareness, get embodied, and regulate and clear your energy for growth and evolution.
The workshop format will start with around a 20 minute introduction to energy medicine and discussion. You will then learn empowering tools supporting embodiment, self-containment, self-reliance, and healing. Handouts on the skills learned will be available to support continuing the work at home.

Mental Health Awareness Day
This year's annual Behavioral Health Fair is in collaboration with Self-Care for Recovery and the Stamford Police Department's Behavioral Health Unit. This year's event is hosted by the Boys and Girls Club of Stamford. Join us as we celebrate mental well being.
